"Ryanair's traffic growth in June continues to demonstrate the strong growth which our very low fares are stimulating in all markets. Traffic numbers in June were assisted by the UK Golden Jubilee Bank Holiday, a high number of people travelling to get away from the World Cup, and the continuing trend of businesses actively seeking low fare - high frequency services such as Ryanair's. We also believe that our growth is being stimulated by the pricing initiatives launched by major airlines which continue to focus the attention of the travelling public on prices, at a time when nobody, but nobody beats Ryanair's prices."
"With the delivery of three new Boeing 737 800 series aircraft in June and July, and the recent launch of three new routes from London to Klagenfurt and from Brussels to Rome and Liverpool, we remain confident that Ryanair's strong traffic growth will continue for the remainder of the year."
